The powerboat training courses we offer at our base on the Clyde, Scotland, are, the 1 days introduction to powerboating Level 1 course, the Level 2 Powerboat course, the Intermediate Powerboat Day Navigation Course and the Advanced Powerboat Course where we take you out driving our fast boats and navigating at night.....truly exhilarating stuff. A lot of our clients do the one day powerboat course for something different and unusual to do, we all enjoy catching some waves.
Our approach to powerboat training is rather different from the normal. We believe that training should be done in a professional manner and in a safe environment but that it should be carried out in a relaxed and informal setting. Our instructors understand clearly that everyone is different and has unique needs when it comes to powerboat training.
We will not rush you through any powerboat training course but spend whatever time is needed on a personal basis. We want you to leave us with real skills and the confidence to use powerboats to their full potential out there on the rivers, lochs and seas. We also provide all the associated courses that you might need like Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper, Sea Survival and VHF Radio courses
Our base is quite unique in that it is located right in Glasgow city centre. We feel that you will benefit from the convenience of this location.
Our powerboat training is carried out from our base at The Tall Ship where we leave by boat and head out for the tidal waters of the Clyde Estuary. We spend as little time in the classroom and as much time on the water as possible.
